Hi, I am going through the book, "Setting Up Lamp" and it instructs me to download and install pine.i386.rpm from this site (page 36), but I get an error during installation. The package downloads correctly but when installing I get ther error: Failed dependecies: liblber.so.2 is needed by pine-4.58-2.i386 and libldap.so.2 is needed by pine-4.58-2.i386
I assume these are other packages that must be present to compile and install pine but don't know how to find and install. Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way, I am using Fedora Core 3.

welcome to dependancy hell, often time, what you are installing needs some other programs or librarys.  More often then you would like, those supporting libraries also need some other programs or libraries........
try to get the rpms's you need by searching http://rpm.pbone.net/
use a system, like make sure you get the first dependency to work before you start on the seconds and so on

Had the same problem as cmccully. Checked out rpm.pbone.net (thanks for that azoudis) - works like a charm.
