I got a nvidia GF 2 MX400 video card, and I want to use tv out to my TV at
the same time. I have tried just about anything, at least something :-). I
tried to change the XF86Config file, but everything seems invane. I am able
to get a reaction on the TV (a few stripes, as the xserver starts), but
nothing more. Anybody got a suggestion, preferable an easy way, as I am not
a hot shot programmer
Thanks in advance.

How does that work, meaning - how do I invoke it?

The details should be in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README Appendix J

Have you read the NVidia Manual?

ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x...bNotes_4363.pdf

In case you have Windows, does TV Out works in it?

Paulo Rocha

I tried once on WinXP, there it worked, but I have no Windows now. Right now
I am reading the doc you mentioned. I also tried nvtv, but it told me that
no supported videocard is found.

Now I got it working with nvtv. It turned out that I for some reason

couldn't handle it with su root. I had to make a full root login. I works,
but now I am facing the problems of adjusting screensize etc. I presume
that part will just be hard work :-)
Thanks all of you.
