GCC error

Hallo, I tried to emerge gnugo, but during the compilation gcc give me
this error: cc1: error: unrecognized option `-lang-c89'

I know that c89 is the first standard for c, I searched for this option
into the gcc man, but I found nothing, how can I correct this?

Thanks, Pietro
